Resort Living is the New Luxury Staple
Luxury living developments are constantly upping the ante for what a true luxury classification entails. The downtown Phoenix residence, under a flagship hotel brand, includes 230 guest rooms and 144 residences and will maintain the existing two-story historic brick building façade. The luxury destination will feature a culinary program led by a Two-Michelin Star and James Beard award-winning chef, offering five onsite restaurants, including an Italian steakhouse, Mexican cantina, speakeasy, pool, and lobby bar. This will also be complemented by an award-winning sommelier who will curate the property’s beverage program.
The broad appeal to young business professionals and/or retirees seeking an all-encompassing living experience makes these contemporary urban residences intriguing. The hybrid hotel/residence seems to be the new model for resort-style living with expanded amenities and dining options. Homeowners will enjoy exclusive access to their own resort-style amenities, including an owner’s lounge, outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, fitness center, dedicated parking, a private entrance, and more. PMA has seen the upward trend of the resort-style hybrid model as we manage more of these projects, and developers are finding this model appeals to a wide range of individuals looking for an all-inclusive living experience while also taking advantage of the hospitality and tourism market.
